Church on the Street Ministries mobilizes the church for reconciliation and justice through the creative fusion of intentional community and theological reflection.
These intentional and diverse communities are places where everyone is welcome, belongs and discovers their gifts of service. By sharing life together in these ways we encourage the joining of lives that build dignity and create friendships that overcome social and economic divisions.
The Center for Practical Theology provides opportunities to theologically reflect on and practically engage with practices as they impact reconciliation and justice, and thus the flourishing of life in community with our most vulnerable neighbors.
The Center's programs include mission team workshops, internships/apprenticeships, training events, speaking engagements, and an intensive Reconcilation and Justice Academy. The Center also hosts a blog about life in community with the vulnerable.
Church on the Street is a founding member of TraffickLight, an international coalition created to collaborate in the fight against human trafficking.
